Shafik Asal is a Co-Founder of ECO2 Initiative, an environmental consulting company created in 2006 and located in Paris. Shafik is responsible as a Managing Director but he focuses also on eco-design training and he is in charge of the sustainable food department. Besides that he is a Co-Founder of Etiquettable, the first collaborative app for sustainable food and the co-founder of the Eco-score project.

Bärbel Hintermeier is a passionate Food Lawyer and just founded her own law firm LEKKER Partners together with her colleague Franca Werhahn. Previously she worked as a lawyer at meyer.rechtsanwälte in Munich for several years where she advised national and international companies in the food sector especially on marketability of innovative products labelling and advertisement and crisis management. In 2021 she joined the German Cereal Processing Milling and Starch Industries’ Association (VGMS) where she was responsible for food law quality and safety topics and coordinated questions on sustainability. She still supports the association.

Fiona Vening is a Lawyer and has been a Compliance Officer at Stichting Reclame Code in Amsterdam since 2013. She is responsible for the Compliance department and member of the management team. She provides advice and training on how to advertise responsibly, monitors whether advertisers follow the recommendations of the Advertising Code Committee and is involved in the development of special advertising codes. She also works closely with international colleagues through the self-regulatory organizations EASA and ICAS. Representatives of an authority or a public university are therefore eligible for a reduced fee of € 695.00 plus VAT per person (please provide evidence). The reduced fee cannot be combined with other rebates.

Terms of Cancellation / Book without Risk
You can cancel your participation in our online events free of charge and without giving reasons in writing up to 1 week before the start of the event. In the case of later cancellations and non-login to the online event, no participation fees can be refunded.
In this case, however, you will receive access to the documentation after the event.
You can name a substitute participant free of charge at any time.
