This training is aiming to give you the basic knowledge of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) studies in the context of Regulation 1107/2009 and in relationship with other Guidance. In a compact format of an intensive morning and afternoon session you will understand the design and conduct of in vivo ADME studies and of biotransformation studies. Furthermore, you will interpret results, including the derivation of oral absorption value, in vivo ADME studies and biotransformation studies.

Alex Gledhill is a Principal Toxicologist at ERM Regulatory Services Ltd. in Harrogate, United Kingdom, within the ERM Crop Protection/Product Stewardship Team. Alex moved into Consultancy 10 years ago having worked at Syngenta Central Toxicology Laboratory for 20 years where she was involved in all areas of regulatory and investigatory ADME and PK work for a range of crop protection chemicals, drugs and general chemicals, including both in vitro and in vivo metabolism studies. Alex has authored a number of papers and posters on ADME topics and also leads in silico toxicology at ERM.
