This online training offers you an introduction to EU pesticide regulation. In a compact half-day session, you will receive an overview of the evaluation processes of active substances and plant protection products as well as an introduction to MRL legislation and CLP regulation.
Pesticide regulation in the EU has grown increasingly complicated over the years. During this training course, you will receive an introduction to EU pesticide regulation, covering the background and development of the regulations including the most recent updates following the updated General Food Law. The course will provide an overview of the evaluation process of both active substances and plant protection products and will also provide an introduction to MRL legislation and CLP.

Robert D. Mason joined Exponent in 2014 in the pesticides team after over 25 years with the UK competent authority, Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) of the Health and Safety Executive. He has extensive experience and knowledge of the EU regulatory system for pesticides at practical, technical, and political levels and has been closely involved in its development, implementation, and operation. At Exponent he has helped develop strategies for achieving regulatory objectives and managed a range of active substance and product related projects.

Terms of Cancellation / Book without Risk
You can cancel your participation in our online events free of charge and without giving reasons in writing up to 1 week before the start of the event. In the case of later cancellations and non-login to the online event, no participation fees can be refunded.
In this case, however, you will receive access to the documentation after the event.
You can name a substitute participant free of charge at any time.
