During this training course, you will receive an introduction to toxicology and gain insight into the associated legislation. In addition, the methods for estimating the risks of substances and relevant information sources are discussed.
The ever-increasing safety requirements for chemicals, biocides, pesticides, cosmetics etc. have led to an increased demand for knowledge and the application of safety and toxicology testing.
During this cross-sector training course, you will receive an introduction to toxicokinetics, toxicodynamics as well as toxicological testing and thresholds. You will also learn about the exposure side and the principles of risk characterisation.
This course has been set up as a first introduction and does not require prior knowledge in toxicology. However, a basic knowledge in chemistry and/or biology is recommended.
